About Dora Ramirez

Dora is a bilingual chef, recipe developer, food photographer, and cookbook author. She was born and raised in Mexico, and is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York. She started a vegan Mexican recipe blog in 2015, inspired by her mother and her health issues. Since then, she has dedicated her time and culinary skills to veganizing all of her family recipes, and creating a community online of Mexican food lovers who are vegan. She is the James Beard Award author of the cookbook Comida Casera.
